We are seated with Christ

What if everything we've been taught about our position in Christ is just the beginning? This powerful message challenges us to step into a reality that many believers have overlooked: we are not merely waiting for heaven—we are already seated with Christ in heavenly places right now. Drawing from Ephesians 2:6, we're invited to embrace what's called 'ascension living'—the practice of operating in both the spiritual and earthly realms simultaneously, just as Jesus did. This isn't metaphor or wishful thinking; it's our actual spiritual position. The sermon dismantles religious limitations that have kept us earthbound, reminding us that as Jesus operated in both heaven and earth, so are we called to do the same. We explore how early church fathers like Maximus the Confessor and Gregory of Nyssa understood this truth centuries ago—that the kingdom is within us as a potentiality now, and we're meant to move from glory to glory. The challenge before us is profound: What if the barriers between the seen and unseen exist only in our perception? What if we've been waiting for permission that was never needed? This message calls us to recognize that we are Acts chapter 29—the continuing story of God's power manifesting through ordinary believers who dare to live from their true position in Christ.
