One of the traits of believers as outlined in Romans 12 is that they must be given to hospitality.
10 Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; 11 not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; 12 rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; 13 distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.
No can reaches their destiny alone.
Two are better than one, because they have a good [more satisfying] reward for their labor; For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up (Ecclesiastes 4:9 - 4:10 AMP)
Therefore, purpose of this ministry is to develop relationships that connect people to their destiny in God and to the people around them.
This team practically applies this goal by being Sunday Morning hosts and hostesses, mixing with our family and especially the new people who join us for a service. One of the other areas that this hospitality ministry coordinates is monthly family dinners as well as outreach Sundays throughout the year.
